Sylvia B.

Intern Counselor

Sylvia believes that every person’s story is unique, meaningful, and worthy of care. In a world that can feel hurried or judgmental, she seeks to provide a counseling space grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect. Her approach emphasizes creating safety so individuals feel free to share their experiences openly, without fear or shame. She works with individuals who may feel stuck, uncertain about direction or purpose, or simply desire to be better understood.

Her counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that healing begins with acceptance and thoughtful presence. Sylvia offers a gentle, non-judgmental environment to explore aspects of a client’s story that may have been overlooked or silenced. She values an integrative process in which emotional healing, identity, and personal values are addressed in ways that support peace, resilience, and renewal. Sylvia considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue growth, clarity, and deeper alignment with who they are.
