Intern Counselor

Isabel Fermin is an LPC intern and is thrilled to be a member of Cornerstone Counseling, Coaching, and Care Ministries. Isabel is passionate about integrating counseling tools and theology in therapy. Her mission is to help individuals live well as they journey through this broken world, believing the Lord desires the restoration and flourishing of His children and that no substantial healing can occur apart from His presence. Isabel is a Symbis pre-marital assessment-certified therapist and incorporates elements of attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and spiritual integration. Isabel understands the intrinsic value of the therapeutic alliance and hopes that clients can find that connection wherever they choose to receive counseling care.

Before joining CC ministries, she worked in managerial roles and as a preschool teacher for more than a decade. Isabel has been happily married to her husband since 2010 and has six adult children in a blended family, a grandchild, and Tato, their mixed-breed beagle, who is 6.5 years old.
